- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup strawberry or raspberry jam (or flavor of choice)
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (more as needed)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Rainbow sprinkles, for topping
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract. Stir in flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan. Spread jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border. Crumble the remaining dough over the jam.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes until golden. Let cool completely in the pan.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bars and top with rainbow sprinkles.
- Once the glaze has set, slice into squares and serve.
