Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds beef chuck
4 cups beef broth
2 cups water
1 cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ginger
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon gochujang
1 pound fresh or dried noodles
3 green onions
Sesame seeds for topping
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Marinate thinly sliced beef sirloin in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor absorption.
Boil a large pot of water and cook the Korean noodles for 5-7 minutes until al dente.
Drain and rinse the noodles under cold water to prevent sticking and stop cooking.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add sesame oil until it shimmers.
Sizzle the marinated beef in the hot pan for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Remove the beef from the pan and keep it warm while avoiding overcrowding.
Stir-fry julienned carrots and sliced bell peppers in the same pan for 2-3 minutes.
Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables and mix well.
Add cooked noodles and a splash of soy sauce, tossing everything together over medium heat.
Plate the Korean Beef Noodles hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
