A deliciously healthy trail mix combining dark chocolate, tart cherries, and a variety of nuts for a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup raw pistachios
  • 1 cup dried cherries or cranberries
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spread raw almonds on a baking sheet. Toast for about 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  2. Once toasted, let almonds cool and chop into coarse pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped almonds, pumpkin seeds, pistachios, dried cherries, and dark chocolate chips. Toss gently to mix.
  4. Transfer the trail mix to an airtight container for storage. It can be kept at room temperature for up to five days.
