  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and light.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks gently.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
