  • 2 pounds large shrimp (2124 count), peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning, plus 1 tablespoon salt for cooking water
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter, plus more to grease the pan
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded medium cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the casserole dish with butter.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add Old Bay seasoning, then cook the shrimp until just opaque for about 30 seconds.
  3. Drain the shrimp and place them in a mixing bowl, then stir in mayonnaise, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the shrimp mixture and combine well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  6. Melt a tablespoon of butter and mix with panko bread crumbs, then sprinkle over the shrimp mixture.
  7. Bake uncovered for 13-15 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
  8. Broil on high for an additional 1-2 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  9. Let it rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
