  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (such as Oreos, without filling)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for swirling on top)
  • Chocolate truffles (for reindeer heads)
  • Red candy-coated chocolates (for noses)
  • Mini pretzels or cookie sticks (for antlers)
  • Black edible marker or chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • Chocolate sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush chocolate cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until the texture resembles wet sand. Divide evenly into 6 cups and press gently. Chill while preparing filling.
  2. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Fold in whipped topping to keep the mixture light. Spoon or pipe over chilled cookie layer and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  3. Add a swirl of whipped cream on top. Place a chocolate truffle in the center for the head. Add a red candy nose and chocolate or drawn eyes. Insert pretzel or cookie-stick antlers. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles for a “fur” effect.
