Learn how to make easy Oreo balls, a no-bake dessert perfect for parties. These simple Oreo balls are made with crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, coated in chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semisweet or white chocolate
  • Optional: Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, blend the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix with cream cheese: Transfer the crumbs to a bowl and mix in softened cream cheese until well combined and dough-like.
  3. Form into balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill for 20–30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate: While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip the balls: Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each ball in melted chocolate. Let excess drip off. Place back on the parchment paper.
  7. Decorate (optional): Immediately add sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle with contrasting chocolate if desired.
  8. Chill again: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.

Notes

  • You can use white, milk, or dark chocolate depending on your preference.
  • Double the batch for parties or make ahead and freeze.
  • Let cream cheese come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • To make gluten-free, use gluten-free Oreo alternatives.
