Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup whole milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, drizzle the olive oil and let it warm up.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the pasta and pour in enough milk to cover it completely. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook pasta according to package instructions (8-10 minutes) until tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts into a creamy sauce. Add more milk if needed to loosen.
