A comforting and classic bowl of Old Fashioned Chili made with ground beef, beans, and rich spices. Perfect for chilly nights!

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Once the meat is nice and brown, add the diced onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
  4. Bring the concoction to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
