Adorable Mini Pumpkin Pizzas shaped like pumpkins, topped with gooey cheese, and decorated for Halloween. Perfect for Halloween dinner main dishes, pumpkin themed appetizers, or fun fall food ideas for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (optional, for orange color)
  • 1 green bell pepper (for stems)
  • Black olives or pepperoni slices (optional for faces)
  • Flour (for rolling dough)
  • Optional toppings: mushrooms, onions, spinach, or other veggies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour a surface and roll pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Use a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter or a sharp knife to cut out pumpkin shapes from the dough.
  4. Place the dough cutouts on the prepared baking sheet and spread pizza sauce onto each one.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sauce.
  6. Decorate each mini pizza by adding green bell pepper pieces for stems and black olives or pepperoni slices for faces.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow the mini pumpkin pizzas to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Using both cheddar and mozzarella cheese provides the best pumpkin-orange color.
  • For crispier crusts, pre-bake the dough cutouts for 3 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Avoid using too much sauce to prevent soggy bases.
  • These mini pumpkin pizzas are vegetarian-friendly; load them with spinach, mushrooms, or roasted pumpkin.
  • They are great for pumpkin themed appetizers or Halloween food breakfast twists.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze unbaked pizzas for up to 2 months.
