- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack
- 2–3 tablespoons sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: Dipping sauces such as ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, jalapeños, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Roll out thawed puff pastry to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into 2-inch wide strips.
- Spoon filling onto one half of each strip. Fold over and twist several times to seal and shape.
- Place twists on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until puffed, golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
