Festive Brie with Honey and Nuts is a quick and elegant holiday appetizer featuring creamy baked brie topped with golden honey, roasted nuts, dried fruit, and pomegranate.

  • 8 oz brie wheel
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • 4 dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 sprig thyme (optional)
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate arils

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Place the brie wheel in a cast iron skillet or shallow baking dish. Score the top rind in a diamond pattern without cutting into the cheese.
  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the top.
  4. Sprinkle chopped walnuts, pistachios, and apricots over the honey. Add the thyme sprig if using.
  5. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes, until the top is soft to the touch but the cheese holds its shape.
  6. Remove from oven and top with pomegranate arils and an additional drizzle of honey, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or sliced fruit.
