Ingredients
Scale
1 box spiral pasta (12–16 oz)
8 ounces broccoli florets (cut to be bite-sized)
2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
16–20 ounces ground turkey
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil and cook the spiral pasta according to the package instructions. In the last 2 minutes, add the broccoli florets. Drain and return to the pot.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add the ground turkey along with paprika, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the turkey mixture to the pasta pot, drizzle in the remaining olive oil, and toss in the chopped basil. Mix until well combined.
Finish by sprinkling in Parmesan cheese, or mix it in just before serving.
