  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan evenly.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  5. Let the crust cool slightly while preparing the filling.
  6. Beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
  8. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  9. Stir in vanilla extract and melted chocolate until rich and velvety.
  10. Pour the filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  11. Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set with a slight jiggle.
  12. Turn off the oven and crack the door open to cool the cheesecake gradually.
