Garlic butter steak bites are tender, flavorful steak pieces pan-seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner or an impressive appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 46 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding). Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  5. Once butter is melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
  • Serve with a side of mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad.
  • These garlic butter steak bites can also be served as an appetizer with toothpicks.
