  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional Swiss cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, French onion soup mix, shredded Swiss cheese, egg, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle additional Swiss cheese on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
