1 lb (450 g) fresh crab meat
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese
1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
1/4 cup (60 ml) cooking oil
Instructions
Fold crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard in a large bowl.
Keep crab meat in chunks for delightful bites.
Add lemon juice, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder; stir until fluffy.
Scoop two tablespoons of crab mixture and roll into a ball with clean hands.
If mixture is loose, sprinkle breadcrumbs to help it bind.
Place formed bombs on a platter and repeat until all mixture is shaped.
Set up a breading station with a shallow dish of breadcrumbs.
Roll each crab bomb in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat for frying.
Fry crab bombs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Alternatively, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for baking.
Bake coated crab bombs for 20-25 minutes until golden and heated through.
