  • 4 large (about 1.5 lbs/680 g) russet potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients, ensuring they are fresh and ready to go.
  2. Cut beef steak into uniform bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Peel and cube the russet potatoes for a creamy texture.
  4. Chop the onion and mince the garlic to release their aromatic oils.
  5. Layer the beef evenly at the bottom of the crockpot.
  6. Sprinkle chopped onions and minced garlic over the beef.
