Tender steak bites bathed in a luxurious garlic butter sauce, cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds stew meat (cut into bite-sized chunks)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the stew meat generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Optional: In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the meat until browned on all sides.
  3. Place the seasoned (and optionally seared) meat into your slow cooker.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, onion soup mix, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the meat in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  7. Stir the meat gently to coat it with the sauce before serving.
