These Christmas Truffles are festive, fun, and no-bake, made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and coated in green candy melts. Topped with red heart sprinkles, they’re the ultimate Grinch-inspired holiday treat for parties, cookie swaps, and edible gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz bright green candy melts (or white chocolate + green gel coloring)
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles or red candy hearts
  • Optional: White chocolate drizzle, Holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Make Base: Crush Oreos (cookies + filling) into fine crumbs. Mix with softened cream cheese until smooth and combined.
  2. Roll & Chill: Scoop 1 tbsp portions, roll into balls, and place on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in fridge 1 hour or freezer 20–30 minutes until firm.
  3. Coat: Melt candy melts in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds. Dip chilled balls with fork, let excess drip, and place back on tray.
  4. Decorate: Top immediately with a red heart sprinkle. Add white chocolate drizzle or holiday sprinkles if desired. Let set fully before serving.

Notes

  • Cream Cheese Tip: Use full-fat cream cheese for best structure. Let soften before mixing to avoid lumps.
  • Storage: Refrigerate in airtight container up to 7 days or freeze up to 1 month.
  • Variations: Try mint Oreos, peanut butter filling, or coat in red/white chocolate.
  • Serving Ideas: Present in tins, wrap in festive bags, or add to cookie trays with cocoa bombs or pretzel treats.
  • Common Mistakes: Don’t skip chilling, avoid overheating candy melts, and decorate quickly before coating sets.
