  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture, then stir in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and sprinkle with cinnamon, crushed cookies, and chocolate chips.
  5. Roll it up tightly and cut into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. For the icing, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
  9. Drizzle icing over warm rolls and top with extra cookie crumbles before serving.
